VW Festival – August 29th

Head down to the hall this weekend for the VW Festival!

Sunday, August 29th, 11am-4pm

Presented by the Edmonton Vintage Volkswagen Association, the event will include something for the whole family! Petting zoo! Games! Prizes!

And of course, lots of cool vintage VWs!

Edmonton Tool Library Repair Cafe

Saturday, Aug. 21st

Do you have a broken toaster? Or a sweater full of holes? Extend the lifespan of your items at the Repair Café. The outdoor event will have volunteer experts onsite specializing in:

Bicycle care & repair
Sewing & upholstery
Household electronics
Tool maintenance & repair
Tool sharpening (Please bring sharp objects in a towel, will also blunt tips)

10am – 4pm

SNAP GALLERY Mural Survey

Artist in Residence Caitlin Bodewitz will be working on potentially painting a mural on the back exterior of SNAP (10572 115 St NW), as part of her In Community Residency (this is separate from the existing mural on the building).
Caitlin is looking for feedback and insights on the mural planning process from the community of Queen Mary Park through the survey below!

We are currently seeking volunteers for our upcoming EFCL Community League Day Pancake Dinner.

The Event will take place on Saturday, September 18th from 2:30pm – 5:00pm

We are looking for volunteers to help set up prior to the event, assist in cooking/serving/additional tasks during the event, and help clean up after the event.

Membership Renewal for 2021/2022

Don’t forget that Queen Mary Park Community League Memberships are up for renewal on September 1st, 2021!

Starting September 1st please sign up online at www.queenmarypark.ca or email memberships@queenmarypark.ca

Again, we ask you to please get your renewal requests in early and please be patient! We expect a large number of new memberships and renewals in September. Each memberships is processed by QMP volunteers as soon as possible.

We will do our best to get you your membership a.s.a.p.!

Our next meeting is set to take place on Tuesday, September 14th at 6:30pm.

As current COVID restrictions only allow for limited in-person attendees, we ask that anyone interested in attending please pre-register by emailing memberships@queenmarypark.ca by Monday, September 13th at 11pm.
