Federal Candidates Forum
The Wîhkwêtôwin Community League is organizing a moderated public forum and Q&A session for the candidates of Edmonton Centre for the upcoming federal election. This event will provide constituents with an opportunity to hear directly from candidates about their platforms and ask important questions.
What: Edmonton Centre Candidates Forum
Where: Matrix Hotel (Quartz Ballroom) 10640 100 Ave NW
When: April 16, 2025. Doors open at 5:30PM
Who: Residents within the Edmonton Centre federal riding that are interested in learning more about their candidates policies.
Since capacity is limited, we are asking people to RSVP for this event (free to attend).

Gather your extra seeds/sprouts and come down to the hall and swap with your neighbours! Share excess seeds, discover new varieties and connect with other gardeners!

Join us for a FREE one hour long environmental education program focused on Queen Mary Park’s community and greenspaces!
SUNDAY, MAY 25th from 2pm to 3pm
Queen Mary Park Hall
This program will teach community members about:
- What species are present in their area (both plants and animals)
- The role each species plays in the ecosystem and how they depend on one another
- How to peacefully coexist with wildlife and how to have healthy interactions (even with our “nuisance” species)
- What to do if you encounter an injured, ill or orphaned animal
- What we can do everyday in our own backyards to help wildlife, promote biodiversity, and support a healthy ecosystem
There will be plenty of time to take questions from program attendees as well!

2025 Community Garage Sale!
Queen Mary Park’s 2025 Community Garage Sale will be held on Saturday, May 31st. This is a great opportunity to do some spring cleaning. The more sales we have, the more traffic we will bring to the community!

If you live in a single family home/duplex and would like to take part, we will drop off a package of signs balloons for your sale, and add you to the community map of sales happening that weekend!
If you live in an apartment or condo and would like to have a table at the hall to sell your goods, a $25 deposit will be required to hold your table. On the day of the sale, your full deposit will be returned to you. *Deposits for no-shows are not refundable.
Once your registration has been submitted we will be in touch with further details/instructions.

Hall Rentals
Did you know that you can rent the hall for your event? Great for birthdays, baptisms, anniversaries, staff parties, and more!
The hall features 2 rentable levels, including full kitchen areas and bathrooms on each. Additional amenities include a barbecue and gazebo area, ample parking, a playground and splashpark, and close proximity to downtown for easy access!
