KAIROS BLANKET EXERCISE

We hope you will join us as Queen Mary Park Community League hosts the KAIROS Blanket Exercise for National Day for Truth and Reconciliation on

Sunday, September 28th
1:00 PM

The KAIROS Blanket Exercise (KBE) is an experiential teaching tool based on participatory popular education methodology that explores the historic and contemporary relationship between Indigenous and non-Indigenous peoples in the land we now know as Canada.

This event will be facilitated by Bigstone Cree Nation member Ian Hopfe a Human Resources and Indigenous Relations Consultant and his wife Corinthé Stolee-Hopfe.

Hall Rentals

Did you know that you can rent the hall for your event? Great for birthdays, baptisms, anniversaries, staff parties, and more!

Current Hall Rates:

Main Floor – Weekday (Mon – Thu): $500.00
Main Floor – Weekend (Fri – Sun): $650.00
Lower Level: $400.00
Loft Space: $125.00 (in addition to Main Floor rental only)*
Event takedown & cleanup is now included in our rental fees!

The hall features 2 rentable levels, including full kitchen areas and bathrooms on each. Additional amenities include a barbecue and gazebo area, ample parking, a playground and splashpark, and close proximity to downtown for easy access!
