2024 Community League Events

We have some great events planned for this upcoming year! Mark your calendars and stay tuned for more details!

ALL of our events and programs rely heavily on community volunteers and participants. Please consider volunteering to help keep these great events running!

Yogalates

Yogalates is back on Tuesday nights starting January 16th!

Join us from 7pm – 8pm for the best of what Pilates and Yoga can offer!

This class is suitable for any fitness level and any body. Designed to leave you feeling more relaxed, focused and yes, stronger.

Taught by Susan Middleton – Susan is a certified Pilates instructor with 17 plus years of experience teaching. She brings her passion for mind/body work to the mat each time and her goal is to impart that same passion to her participants. Susan welcomes any and all to her classes. Come and experience all of the benefits for your body and mind that Pilates and Yoga offer.

This class is free for members of Queen Mary Park Community League.
$5 for non-members. (Pay at the door)

Queen Mary Park Community League is a part of the TGP Wholesale Market’s Community League Program!

When you make a purchase at the TGP Wholesale Market, tell the cashier you’re from the Queen Mary Park Community League and TGP will donate a portion of your purchase to the League. This donation will help fund further programming and events through the community league.

Get groceries and support your community in one stop!

Our community league is always seeking volunteers throughout the year to help facilitate all the wonderful events and programs we provide to the community.

Have some time to give every month? Our Board currently has openings for 2 Directors-at-large. Come to our next board meeting on February 13th to find out what’s involved!

Only have time a few times a year? Volunteer at one of our many fabulous events!

We are looking for community-minded individuals of all skill-levels and time-commitments!

Christmas Tree Collection

Curbside collection of natural Christmas trees begins Monday January 22, 2024. They only visit each neighbourhood once, so make sure your tree is out by 7am on January 22 to avoid getting missed!

Remove all lights, ornaments, tinsel, garlands, nails, screws and tree stands. This allows us to chip and compost your tree.
Cut trees larger than 2 metres (6.5 feet) into smaller pieces. This keeps your collector safe

Winter Sidewalks

Now that the snow is finally here, a friendly reminder to keep all walkways clear of snow.
Free sand can be found at the Community Hall to help keep our sidewalks safe!

2024 Community League Events

Did you know that QMP Community members are welcome to attend our monthly Community League Board meetings?
