Spring Giveaway!

Spring has sprung and to celebrate, we’re doing a spring giveaway!

Sign up for a FREE Capital City Clean Up Kit from QMP, and help beautify our community. Email sahaj@queenmarypark.ca to get your kit. Each kit will count as one giveaway entry. A limited number are available.

Didn’t get your hands on a kit? Post a picture getting your yard, balcony or common areas in QMP spring ready and use #QMPSpring for an entry.

The winner will be announced on Earth Day weekend (April 20-22), and receive a Garden Prize Pack.

Clothing Drive

John A. McDougall School is fundraising for an immersive 2 week hip hop residency with dancEd Movement Project in the Spring of 2022. Students get the opportunity to learn the elements of hip hop dance from professional dance educators and will showcase their skills and talents on the last day of the residency.

Saturday May 8th between 1pm and 3pm in the parking lot at John A. McDougall School.

Edmonton Fire Cadets: Now Recruiting

High school students looking for a unique way to build employment skills and gain high school credits can now apply for Edmonton Fire Rescue Services’ upcoming Fire Cadet program beginning in September. Applications are open until April 30, 2021.

From structural firefighting and vehicle extrication to team building and dispatch, fire cadets learn invaluable leadership and employment skills applicable to a variety of careers — not just firefighting. Visit edmonton.ca/firecadets to learn more.

QMPCL Monthly Board Meetings

Did you know that QMP Community members are welcome to attend our monthly Community League Board meetings?

Our next meeting is set to take place on Tuesday, May 11th at 6:30pm.
